A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR ALL OUR FRIENDS & SUPPORTERS - SEptember 2020
We hope that you and your families are safe and well and that as 2020 draws to a close we can all look forward to the many happier and brighter days ahead. The past months have weighed heavily on us all, no matter who you are or where you are in the world, but for us all the adventure must continue.
South Africa and the Western Cape which is our home has suffered along with every other country and so sadly we have not been able to share the vibrant and colourful beauty and energy of our people and lands with you this year.
That includes our endless seas and beaches, coastlines and mountains, our cities and farms, our wines and food, our wildlife and flora and our young, exciting and diverse culture and music, but we hope to see you next year and to renew our many friendships.
Unfortunately, the current situation has also prevented us from travelling and attending many international wine shows and gatherings, events, dinners and wines tastings but it has also meant that we were unable to provide our Aristea wines to the many great charitable events that were planned during the period.
However, we will see you again and even if that is not just yet, it will be soon. Please keep well and be safe.
GRASSROOT FOOTBALL DINNER - NOVEMBER 2019
This very important World AIDS Day Gala event is organised by of The South African Grassroot Soccer Foundation and will take place at the stunning surroundings of The Linley Hall in London on 21st November with a dazzling audience of past supporters in attendance as well as hight profile individuals from the world of Sport and Entertainment. We are most honoured and delighted to provide a selection of our Aristea wines for both the reception and dinner and wish all concerned great success on the night.
SONNY'S WINE CIRCLE DINNER - VIRGINIA WATER - OCTOBER 2019
We are also pleased to announce that Sonny Jafri has once again invited us to show the complete Aristea collection of wines at dinner at his restaurant in Virginia Water, The Wine Circle on 16th October 2019. We also pass huge thanks to our great friend and long time supporter David Singleton.
TATE BRITAIN DINNER - OCTOBER 2019
For a second year running, by the kind invitation of Hamish Anderson, CEO of Tate Catering, we will be presenting our new vintage releases of Aristea wines to a special audience at Tate Britain on 15th October. This also incldes the first showing of our latest wine, Aristea Pinot Noir from Hemel-en-Aarde which we are all very excited about. The evening will start with a glass of MCC blanc 2015 in the Rotunda followed by dinner in the Rex Whistler restaurant.
PROWEIN - DUSSELDORF MARCH 2019
We are also be joining forces with leading South Africa wine export experts Robinson Sinclair at Prowein in Dusseldorf from 17-19th March 2019 and showcasing all of the new release wines and we are also most delighted to announce our ever closer and on-going working relationship with Robin Sinclair
BLENHEIM PALACE STARLIGHT CHARITY BALL - MARCH 2019
This is a very special occasion for the Starlight Children's Foundation and we are therefore delighted to be providing all of the wines for this very important Charity Dinner and Ball which is being hosted by The Duke & Duchess of Marlborough at Blenheim Palace on 22nd March 2019.
TATE BRITAIN DINNER - APRIL 2019
By the kind invitation of Hamish Anderson, CEO of Tate Catering, we will be presenting our Aristea wines to a special audience at Tate Britain on 5th April which also coincides with the opening of the new Van Gogh exhibition at the world famous Gallery. The evening will start with a wine tasting and viewing of the long awaited Van Gogh exhibition followed by dinner in the Rex Whistler restaurant.
SONNY'S WINE CIRCLE DINNER - VIRGINIA WATER - JUNE 2019
We are also pleased to announce that by kind invitation of wine retailing legend Sonny Jafri, we will be pouring the Aristea collection of wines at a special dinner at The Wine Circle on 12th June 2019 with further thanks to our great friend and long time supporter David Singleton.
HARVEST 2019
Matthew Krone has been busy and working hard for the past few weeks as the 2019 harvest is underway and whilst it looks like a tricky vintage, we are confident that the quality of the fruit appears to be very good and more news will follow soon.
ARISTEA PINOT NOIR 2018 - Hemel-en-Aarde
Our Pinot Noir 2018 wine from the famous Hemel-en-Aarde valley, which is noted as the ‘Holy Grail' of terroir in The Cape for the finest Pinot Noir, was recently bottled and so we look forward to adding this fine new wine to our next portfolio release in September 2019.
